Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a taxi from Prague Airport to the city centre?

A private transfer from Prague Airport to the city centre (Prague 1) costs from 940 CZK (approximately 39 EUR) for a Comfort sedan carrying up to 4 passengers. This is an upfront price locked at booking — no surge pricing after booking, hidden fees, or toll charges.

Is the Prague airport transfer price fixed or metered?

All Prague Lane prices are shown upfront and locked at booking. Unlike metered taxis or ride-hailing apps with surge pricing, once you book, your price doesn't change with traffic, weather or demand. Night pickups (00:00–08:00) and extra luggage are added to the quote before you pay.

Are there any hidden fees or extra charges?

No. Our prices include everything: meet & greet at arrivals, flight monitoring, up to 60 minutes free waiting time, help with luggage, tolls, parking, and all taxes. Additional waiting beyond 60 minutes is charged at 200 CZK per 15 minutes. There are no booking fees, credit card surcharges, or fuel supplements.

How does Prague Lane compare to Uber pricing?

Uber fares from Prague Airport typically range from 400–1,200 CZK depending on surge pricing. Our upfront price from 940 CZK is competitive with Uber's normal rate and significantly cheaper than surge rates. Plus, we include meet & greet, flight monitoring, and 60 minutes free waiting — none of which Uber offers.
